THE "WARRIOR CHOPPER" build was initially an idea that came from me and my boss while serving as the Detachment 1stSgt for the Wounded Warrior Battalion at the Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa) hospital. We wanted to do something that got the Marines out of the hospital and to do something that would inspire and motivate them. We heard our east coast counter parts were restoring an old car so we decided to build a chopper!
